The Northwest Territory of the Yukon offers a range of wilderness adventures and links perfectly with neighbouring Alaska.

Kluane National Park and Reserve is in the southwest of the Yukon. This segment of the Yukon Territory is a vast uncultivated region of ice fields, lush deep forest and commanding peaks.

The Yukon is a wild and mountainous territory that boasts imposing and glorious scenery you will struggle to match and offers a wildlife experience that is simply jaw dropping.

Float plane access from Whitehorse (there are no roads!!) is an experience in itself, it takes just over an hour flying over outstanding scenery – you will see wild moose, bear, caribou, mountain sheep, buffalo and an amazing array of birds.

PLEASE NOTE: Travellers from countries other than the USA, who do not need a visa to enter Canada, will need to apply for an ETA prior to travel. The new entry requirement will be mandatory from 15th March 2016; however from 1st August 2015 eligible travellers will have the opportunity to apply online for their ETA.

The Canadian authorities have launched a website where you can get more information regarding the ETA process.

The earlier travellers get their ETA, the sooner they will benefit from knowing they have been pre-screened to enter Canada. A fee of CAD$7 is payable for processing an application for an electronic travel authorization.
