We recently experienced an amazing combination of self drive tour and a fly out to view bears at close quarters in their natural environment.

An example self drive tailor made itinerary would be:

Fly to Anchorage and stay 2 nights.
Fly out from Anchorage to Lake Clark for an exclusive 3 night 4 days bear viewing adventure (fully guided).
Return to Anchorage, collect a hire car and take a self drive tour south and east to the Kenai Peninsula. Visiting Seward and Homer.
We suggest 3 nights in Seward and 4 nights minimum in Homer. This allows time for a fjord day cruise, glacier viewing, an excellent chance to view bald eagles, Sitka deer, sea otters and moose. You will enjoy a relaxed pace of life, great restaurants and stunning inland and coastal scenery.
Excellent walking trails and photographic opportunities throughout.
